Suggested Use: 1-3 capsules per day, in divided doses, with meals.
What Is It?
Manganese is a trace mineral that acts as a cofactor in several metabolic and enzymatic reactions, including macronutrient and vitamin synthesis and connective tissue integrity.*
Uses For Manganese (aspartate/citrate)
Nutrient Metabolism: Manganese activates numerous enzymes necessary for the utilization of biotin, thiamine, and ascorbic acid. It is a catalyst in the synthesis of fatty acids and cholesterol, and plays a part in protein, carbohydrate, and fat production. It is also a necessary cofactor in the detoxification of ammonia to urea.*
Connective Tissue and Bone: Manganese is necessary for normal skeletal development and maintenance of connective tissue and cellular integrity. In addition, it influences the synthesis of mucopolysaccharides, an important component of connective tissue.*
What Is The Source?
Manganese is sourced naturally from limestone. Citrate is derived from corn dextrose fermentation. Aspartate is synthetic. Hypo-allergenic plant fiber is derived from pine cellulose.
