In episode 123 of his video series, Dr. Larson discusses:
We’ve been sharing our new products with patients, and we have been getting a lot of great feedback. We formulated our NewGreens™ product about 15 years ago, and a lot of things were different in the supplement industry when we began, like how we could procure certain ingredients. Now that things have changed, we have reformulated it inside and out and from top to bottom. It is now a completely different product sourced differently.
The first priority on our list was to make a product that we, ourselves, would love to drink. And from there, we focused on our second priority, to support US-only organic farmers instead of getting our sources internationally. It is very hard to have confidence that the sources you get globally have followed the regulations that ensure produce is 100% organic. So, we made it a special point to have more regulation by getting the best produce from US-farmers.
Thirdly, we wanted our product to be freeze-dried and sprouted. Other products are manufactured by foods being juiced, and then made into a powder. When you manufacture a whole food product that way, you have to use high heat, and the heat wipes out a lot of the key ingredients. When it is freeze-dried, it is done so that the whole product is maintained, and it keeps everything intact, nutrients and taste. And then, when it is sprouted, the nutrient content is much higher.
Our products have all been third-party evaluated to verify that you have two full servings of fruits and vegetables from one serving of our powder. When you drink our supplement, it is like physically sitting down at the table and eating two servings of raw vegetables and fruits. It is also vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, crafted here in California, and USDA-certified Organic. We are also very proud of its new, improved look. The packaging is exactly how we want to represent our brand.
